Hello
I’m Amy
about me
Pronouns: she/her/hers
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist offering telehealth psychotherapy to adults, teens and couples across California.
As a queer therapist with lived experience of chronic illness and chronic pain, I bring both clinical training and personal understanding into the therapy space. I’m especially attuned to the ways identity, health, creativity, and relationships intersect, and how these experiences shape how we move through the world. My work centers on helping clients reconnect with themselves with compassion, curiosity, and self-trust.
Being a creative is a core part of who I am. Outside of my work as a psychotherapist, I am an artist and singer-songwriter. I see creativity not only as expression, but as a vital source of resilience, meaning, and healing - and I honor the creative parts of my clients, whether or not they identify as “artists” themselves.
When I’m not providing therapy, I can be found writing/performing music, engaging in intentional movement (ideally outdoors!), or spending time with my partner and our dog. I am a San Francisco Bay Area native.

Background
I began my clinical training at Pacific Center for Human Growth in Berkeley, California, where I provided sliding-scale therapy to LGBTQIA+ individuals. This work deeply shaped my relational, affirming, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, and reinforced my commitment to creating spaces where clients feel safe to explore identity, relationships, and lived experience without fear of judgment.
Prior to my clinical work, I conducted clinical psychology research at Stanford University, Yale University, and Columbia University. This background continues to inform my practice, allowing me to integrate research-informed care with somatic, relational, and narrative approaches that attend to both mind and body.
